The closure and paving of Washington Way between 17th and 26th streets has been cancelled. Paving will be rescheduled for the first week of January; a separate campus notification will follow with dates.

As part of the Washington Way Improvement Project, significant traffic impacts will occur the week of December 12 through December 16,2022, along and near SW Washington Way:
Monday 12/12/22 – The intersection of SW 26th Street & SW Washington Way will be flagged. Only northbound traffic will be allowed on SW 26th Street north of SW Washington Way to SW Intramural Way.
12/13/22 – The intersection of SW 26th St & SW Washington Way will be closed for waterline installation.
12/14 & 12/15 – SW Washington Way closed from 26th Street to 30th Street for waterline installation.
Friday 12/16/22 – SW Washington Way closed from 17th Street to 26th Street & 26th Street to 30th Street for paving. The intersection at 26th Street & Washington Way will be open.

For work related to the Community Hall Slope Project, a closure of the west bound lane of SW Jefferson Way between SW 15th Street and SW Benton Place is scheduled to start on Monday, August 8, 2022 through Friday, August 12, 2022. The west bound lane will be closed daily during working hours from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. A detour will be in place around the closure area to SW Washington Way and down SW Benton Place (view map). Temporary access will be provided during off hours.

For work related to the Washington Way Improvement Project, a closure is planned for the western portion of the sidewalk and driveway access south of Dixon Recreation Center and Goss Stadium along SW Washington Way. A contractor will be onsite excavating a trench to install new conduit for future relocated power.

For continued utility work related to the Arts and Education Complex project, an additional full closure of SW Benton Place is scheduled. The additional closure starts on Monday, January 10, 2022 through Tuesday, January 11, 2022. There will be minimal impacts to parking. SW Benton Place will reopen over the weekend before the additional closure starts next Monday.

As part of the Poling Hall window replacement project, the north lane of Intramural Lane south of Cauthorn and Poling Halls will be closed. In addition, the sidewalk to the east of Poling, along Weatherford Way, will be closed, as will the east entrance to the quad interior between Poling and Buxton Halls. There will be sidewalks closed inside the quad as well. Parking spots south of Cauthorn and Poling Halls will be closed. Work is scheduled to take place between 6am-4pm daily, starting on Monday, June 14 until Friday, September 3, 2021 (view map).
