Domestic hot water and the heating water loop will be shut down in Magruder Hall on Thursday, September 5. This shutdown will impact hot water service in restrooms and the building heating system.
Other possible impacts include noise from plumbing work.

As part of the Jen-Hsun Huang and Lori Mills Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex project, traffic will be restricted to a single lane on NW Monroe Ave. at NW 25th St. to allow for intersection work. This closure will be in effect starting Monday, August 12 through Friday, August 23, from 8:30 A.M to 4:30 P.M. each day.
The north-south crosswalk at Monroe Ave. and 25th St. will be closed. Several city parking spaces to the east and west of the intersection, on the north side of Monroe Ave., will be closed.
Flaggers will be present at the intersection to direct traffic through the area. Other possible impacts include noise near the work site.

The steam will be shut down in Kerr Administration Building August 12, 2024 6:00 am – 11:00 am to replace leaking steam valves in the basement. This will affect the heating and hot water in the building.

As part of the Valley Library Telecommunication Tower project, SW Jefferson Way will be closed between SW Benton Place and SW Waldo Place on Monday, August 5 to allow for crane activity.
The north sidewalk in this section of Jefferson Way will be closed. The south sidewalk will remain open.
Westbound traffic on Jefferson Way will be detoured around the area via Benton Place south to Langton Place. Please see map below.
