Emergency Shutdown Notice – The Magruder Hall chiller on the south side (Large Animal Hospital) will be shut down immediately for emergency repairs. This will affect cooling building wide. The water both domestic and industrial will be shut down in Weniger Hall August 16, 2025 from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm to repair leaking pipes. This will affect all domestic and industrial water and drains building wide.

As part of the Kelley District Utility Plant Project, SW Memorial Place will be closed between SW Campus Way and Plageman Student Health Center to allow for crane activity and equipment delivery. The closure will be in effect starting Monday, August 4 from 5 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
The east entrance to Kelley Engineering Center may be intermittently unavailable. Service parking spaces in this section of Memorial Place will be closed. The east sidewalk on Memorial Place will remain open for pedestrians.

As part of the Washington Way Improvement Project, the walkway around the sand volleyball courts at Dixon Recreation Center will be closed on Tuesday, July 29 and Wednesday, July 30. Pedestrians may use the sidewalks along SW 26th St. and Washington Way as a detour around the closure area.
Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the work area.
