As part of the ALS Controls Upgrade Project, there will be an emergency repair to a steam coil in the ALS HVAC system. Airflow will lower in some spaces in the building, but steam service to the building will not be affected. Work is scheduled to take place between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2022.

As part of the Fairbanks Hall Renovation Project, the parking lot west of Fairbanks Hall and the bike racks north of Fairbanks Hall will be closed for storm drain work, which includes VacEx truck work. As part of the Cordley Hall Renewal project, interior demolition in Cordley Hall east will continue through December 2022. Current elevated noise levels are expected to continue through that time. Steps have been taken to minimize noise, such as leaving windows in place until demolition on that floor is complete.
The Cordley Hall Renewal project is a priority of the university and contributes to SP 4.0 actions of sustainability by reducing our carbon footprint by renovating over building new, and by improving our physical and research infrastructure.
