As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, the west sidewalk on SW 30th St. will be closed between SW Washington Way and SW Jefferson Way starting Saturday, April 13 through Monday, May 6.
Pedestrians may use the east sidewalk as a detour.

The steam will be shut down in Covell Hall April 11, 2024 5:00 am –7:00 am to replace a steam valve. This will affect heating, radiators and hot water in the building.

As part of the Cordley Hall Renewal project, a vacuum truck will be working in the area outside of Cordley Hall through Tuesday, April 9. This may result in noise impacts for building occupants and the surrounding area.

As part of the Goss Baseball Hitting Building project, a section of the southbound lane on Benton Place will be closed intermittently on Wednesday, April 10 and Thursday, April 11. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic through the area. The closure area will be located near the intersection at Washington Way.
Six street parking spaces will be closed on the west side of Benton Place.
In addition, the west sidewalk on Benton Place will be closed between Langton Place and Washington Way, starting near Snell Hall. Pedestrians may use the south sidewalk on Langton Place, the walkway on the west side of Goss Stadium and the north sidewalk on Washington Way to detour around the closure.
Other possible impacts include noise near the worksite.

As part of the Cordley Hall Renovation project, fire alarm testing will occur in both the east and west wings of Cordley Hall on Wednesday, April 10 from 6:00 – 7:00 A.M.
Building occupants and those in the surrounding area may notice alarm noise and flashing lights in the building.

As part of the Building Controls and Mechanical Renewal project, the chilled water system that feeds the Agricultural and Life Sciences Building and Nash Hall will be shut down to allow for piping work. The buildings may experience elevated temps during the shutdown, but no large temperature swings are expected.
Growth chambers, cold rooms and server rooms will be not affected by this shutdown.

As part of the Pride Center Renovation project, intermittent closures of roadways and sidewalks will continue to impact the area from Saturday, April 6 through Friday, April 12.
There are three closure areas to be aware of:
A section of the north sidewalk on A Avenue, bordering the Pride Center, will be closed, 4/6 – 4/10. Pedestrians may use the south sidewalk as a detour.
A section of May Avenue, behind the Pride Center, will be intermittently closed, 4/8 – 4/10.
The entry lane to the parking lot west of the Pride Center, off of A Avenue, will be intermittently closed, 4/8 – 4/12. The parking lot will remain open and an alternate entrance is available off of 17th St.
