The main building compressor in Owen Hall has been shut down for an emergency repair, this will affect building lab air. We expect the compressor to be back up and running by 4 pm today.

Update: Friday September 24, 2021 temperatures are expected to climb into the mid 80’s. Due to shipping delays, Facilities has been unable to obtain the parts necessary to make the final repairs. Therefore, at this time we will not be able to hold comfortable temperatures in the building. Please plan accordingly.
This shutdown will not affect the server room.

Emergency Street Shutdown Westbound lane at the intersection of 30th and Washington Way due to an apparent water main break. The City of Corvallis has been contacted and is en route to repair, unknown time of restoration. Additional lane closures could occur as the work progresses. Magruder Hall will experience reduced water pressure while this repair is being performed.

This may cause higher than normal temperature levels building-wide. An additional notice will be sent out when repairs are complete and cooling is restored. This will not affect temperatures in the server rooms or Atrium.

Portions of OSU’s Corvallis Campus may have recently experienced a power bump. Currently, Johnson Hall, Hovland Hall, and Gilmore Annex are experiencing power outages. Pacific Power is still investigating the cause of the outage and OSU Facilities Services is working to identify if there are any additional buildings affected. Pacific Power estimates the power to be restored by 4:30 pm. Contact Facilities Services at 541-737-2969 if you notice other areas without power or if there are issues with equipment not resetting.

All steam services for Graf Hall will be shut down Wednesday, May 12th, from 5:30 am to 12:00 pm, to repair a radiator valve. This will affect hot water and heating throughout the building.

To excavate and repair a leaking water line, the east sidewalk on SW. 26th St. between Campus Way and Johnson Hall will be closed on Tuesday, May 11th, 2021. An additional notice will be sent out when repairs are complete and the sidewalk is reopened.

Steam will be shut down to Owen Hall on February 10th, 2021 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, to replace a steam valve for SU1. This will affect airflow and heating throughout the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floor as well as the east side of the 4th floor.
