Sidewalk median closed through 7/3; parking closed through 12/31
As part of the Upper Division & Graduate Student Housing project, the roadway and sidewalk median on SW Madison Ave. between SW 9th and SW 11th Streets will be closed through July 3. The sidewalks on the north side of Madison Ave. and the east side of 11th St. will remain closed through December 31. The sidewalk on the south side Madison Ave. will remain open.
In addition, several city parking spaces along the west side of SW 11th St. near the intersection with NW Monroe Ave. will be closed through December 31st to allow for construction activities.

Student Legacy Park, including all fields, tennis facilities, basketball court and sand volleyball courts will be closed for resurfacing and turf replacement starting on Monday, June 19 and continuing through the summer. The sidewalk on the north side of Washington Way directly adjacent to Student Legacy Park will also be closed. Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the construction site.

The HVAC system in the Agriculture and Life Sciences Building will undergo air handler testing on Monday, June 19 from 8 A.M. to 3 P.M. The testing process will involve intermittent system shutdown. Airflow and building pressure will be affected, but impacts will be minimal and of short duration. Building exhaust systems and fume hoods will not be affected during the shutdown.

Two major projects related to the Washington Way Improvement Project will impact campus starting Monday, June 19 and continuing throughout the summer.
Washington Way will be fully closed between 17th and 26th Streets from June 20 through September 25 for road reconstruction work. The sidewalks on both sides of Washington Way will remain open.

A second closure will impact 26th Street starting at the Washington Way intersection and extending 200 ft. to the north. This closure will be in effect from June 19 through July 3. The closure includes the entire roadway and the west sidewalk on 26th St. Parking spaces on the east side of 26th St. will remain open during construction.

The northbound lane and bike lane on SW 26th St. will be closed in front of the OSU Beaver Store entrance on Monday, June 19 from approximately 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. to allow for crane work. Drivers should expect to see flaggers in the area. The sidewalk in front of the OSU Beaver Store will also be closed and pedestrians will be detoured across 26th St. to the west sidewalk.

The other two lanes will remain open at all times. Sidewalks and crosswalks will not be impacted. Other impacts include noise, dust and mud near the construction site.

As part of the LaSells Stewart Center Mechanical & Roof Renewal Project, a section of SW Stadium Ave. located directly behind LaSells Stewart Center and just south of Bloss Hall will be closed to allow for crane activity on Friday, June 9 from 8 A.M. to 1 P.M. The B2 parking lot east of the LaSells Stewart Center will also be closed.
The entrance to SW Stadium Ave. from SW Western Blvd. will be closed. Both the east and west sidewalks on Stadium Ave. directly behind the LaSells Stewart Center will be closed. A vehicle detour will be available from Western Blvd. along the east and north side of the Bloss Hall South Parking Lot.

As part of the Completing Reser Stadium Project, flaggers will be present on SW 26th St. just south of the LaSells Stewart Center on Friday, June 2 from 12 – 4 P.M. Workers will be removing temporary pavement markings in the area. The street will remain open to all traffic, but minor delays should be expected.

As part of the Dixon Recreation Center Pool System Replacement & HVAC Project, a crane will be placed in the Dixon East Parking Lot on Monday, June 5 from 6 A.M. to 12 P.M. The parking lot will remain open, but two ADA parking spaces and one loading zone space will be closed on the north side of the parking lot. Pedestrian access will be maintained along the sidewalk closest to Goss Stadium.
