Memorial Union « OSU Corvallis Campus Closures, Shutdowns and Detours

This is an update to a previous notification.

The location of this closure has been changed. The SW Jefferson Way closure scheduled for Monday, December 18 – Friday, December 22 has been moved to the west and will now begin at the Student Experience Center and extend to SW 26^th St. This will open up SW Waldo Place for northbound vehicle traffic. The sidewalk closure will remain unchanged. See updated map below.

The map shows a road and sidewalk closure on SW Jefferson Way from SW Waldo Place to SW 26th Street. The north sidewalk is marked as closed in front of Memorial Union. The south sidewalk is marked as a detour.

As part of the Memorial Union Roof & Gutter project, SW Jefferson Way will be closed between SW Benton Pl. and SW 26^th St. on Friday, November 10. The north sidewalk and the parking spaces directly in front of Memorial Union will be closed. The south sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians.

The intersections at SW Waldo Pl. and SW Langton Pl. will be closed to vehicle traffic.

As part of the Memorial Union Roof & Gutter project, the sidewalk on the north side of SW Jefferson Way, directly in front of Memorial Union, will be intermittently closed on Thursday, September 14 to allow for crane activity. The south sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians.

Additionally, the loading zone and 30-minute parking spaces on Jefferson Way, in front of Memorial Union, will also be closed. The street will remain open for vehicle traffic.

The map shows a sidewalk closure in front of Memorial Union, on the north side of SW Jefferson Way. The area is marked as intermittently closed on September 14, 2023.

Additionally, the loading zone and 30-minute parking spaces on Jefferson Way, in front of Memorial Union, will also be closed. The street will remain open for vehicle traffic.

As part of the Memorial Union Roof & Gutter project, the sidewalk on the north side of SW Jefferson Way, directly in front of Memorial Union, will be closed on Friday, July 21 from 6 A.M. to 12 P.M. to allow for crane activity.The south sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians.

Additionally, the loading zone and 30-minute parking spaces on Jefferson Way, in front of Memorial Union, will also be closed. The south-west loading dock will not be impacted. The street will remain open for vehicle traffic.

As part of the Memorial Union Quad Concrete Repair project, multiple concrete walkways on the west side of the MU Quad area will have limited pedestrian access from Monday, July 10 – Friday, July 14. The impacted walkways are the interior paths that extend from the western half of the quad into the center. Pedestrians may continue to use the perimeter walkways for east-west travel.
