Notice: 1/19/23-Dearborn Hall Steam Shutdown
All steam services will be shut down to Dearborn Hall, Thursday, January 19, 2023, from 6 am -4:30 pm. This critical shutdown is necessary to repair a plugged steam line. This will affect all steam services in the building including heating and hot water. Building temperatures will be lower than normal during this time.

12/20/22 Emergency: Magruder Hall Heating and Domestic Hot Water Shutdown 12/20/22
To make emergency repairs on a failed component in the heat exchanger, the unit will be shut down on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, 8:00 am -4:30 pm. This will affect the heating for the South end of the building as well as domestic hot water.

Update: Repairs are scheduled for 12/20/22
Due to a failed component in the heat exchanger, the south end of Magruder Hall on both the 1st and 2nd floors will be experiencing cooler-than-normal temperatures. This will affect the heating for the South end of the building as well as domestic hot water. A restoral date is unknown at this time. Updates will be provided when they are available.

Notice: Domestic Water Shutdown in Rogers Hall
Effective Date(s): December 14, 2022, 6:00 am – December 15, 2022, 6:00 pm.
The water will be shut down in Rogers Hall December 14, 2022, from 6:00 am to December 15, 2022 6:00 pm to remove and install new backflows. This will affect the domestic water building wide.

12/10/22: Planned power outages scheduled for Gleeson Hall
Power will be shut down to Gleeson Hall on Saturday, December 10th from 6 am -9 am to make permanent repairs to a failed breaker panel. Fume hoods should not be used during this time, and sashes should remain down.

11/11/22: Gleeson Hall Unplanned Power Outage * Power has been restored- 12:30 p.m.
**Update: Power has been restored, please call or email Facilities Services if you notice areas without power or if there are issues with equipment not resetting.**
Portions of Gleeson Hall have recently experienced a power outage due to a failed breaker panel. Currently, most fume hoods and the elevator are without power. At this time, there is no estimate for restoral. Fume hoods should not be used during this time, and sashes should remain down. Additional information will be sent out when it is available.

11/10/22 @ 11:15am Operation to the freight elevator has been restored.

11/7/22 at 7:00 a.m. – Tuesday, 11/8/22 at 5:00 p.m.: LPSC Exhaust Fan Shutdown
Linus Pauling Science Center building exhaust fans will be shut down to replace several failed fan motors. Building occupants may notice some air pressure fluctuations while work is being performed. Fume hoods should not be used during this time due to decreased air flow and sashes should remain down until EH&S verifies proper operation and removes signage.

Portions of OSU’s Corvallis Campus may have recently experienced a power bump. Pacific Power is investigating the cause and Facilities Services is checking building systems for any issues.
