12/30/24: Notice: Gilbert Hall Heating Water Shutdown 6:30 am – 12:00 pm
Heating water will be shut down to Gilbert Hall, Tuesday January 30th, 2024, from 6:30 am -12:00 pm. This critical shutdown is necessary to replace a valve on the heating water return line. Building occupants might experience lower than normal temperatures during this time.

1/9/24 Notice: Unplanned power bump
Portions of OSU’s Corvallis Campus may have recently experienced a power bump due to weather related activity off campus. Facilities Services is checking building systems for any issues.
Email Facilities Services if you notice areas without power, generators running or if there are issues with equipment not resetting.
1/8/24 Notice: Steam Shutdown Agricultural & Life Sciences Bldg.
All steam services will be shut down to Agricultural & Life Sciences Bldg, Monday January 8, 2024, from 6 a.m. -4 p.m. while work is preformed to repair steam lines. Buildings may experience temperature fluctuations and hot water may be unavailable during this time.

All steam services will be shut down to West Greenhouse, Friday December 29th, 2023, from 5 a.m. -7:00 a.m. to replace a leaking steam trap. The building may experience temperature fluctuations and hot water may be unavailable during this time.

Generator back up standby power to Johnson Hall will be shut down on January 3rd, 2024, from 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. This will affect all standby electrical and generator backed electrical.
What do you need to do to prepare for this outage? Please make sure that all computers, printers, copiers, and other electronic devices are turned off prior to 1/2/24. If you have an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), also known as a battery backup, please be sure to turn it off as well. The building will not have network connectivity during this power outage, i.e. no wireless, wired internet or VoIP phone connectivity. Anything that relies on the network will not be functional.

Pacific Power is scheduling a power outage to make repairs to equipment at Gill Coliseum. The outage will be Wednesday December 27th beginning at 5:00 am with an estimated completion time of 7 am. Please see the list of impacted buildings below. These buildings will be closed to the public during the outage.

An outside contractor will be performing testing on fire rollup doors December 18th-20th . The testing is approximately ½ hour per door. The door will be closed for that time, and there may be some noise as the door closes and opens. Please see the list of impacted buildings below.

12/18-12/19: Scheduled: Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Testing
Convergint will be conducting annual fire alarm & sprinkler testing. Testing will take place in the buildings listed below. The testing will be brief and include both sounding of alarms and strobes. As part of the testing building occupants may notice occasional beeping coming from the fire panel and horns and strobe lights activating throughout the building. Signage will be posted on exterior doors while testing is being conducted.
