Pacific Power has scheduled a power outage to set a new 45′ pole in order to establish new service for the OSU Ag building. The outage will begin Tuesday September 26th, 2023, beginning at 8:00 am with an estimated completion time of 3:30 pm. Please see the list of impacted buildings below. These buildings will be closed to the public during the outage.
Affected buildings:
• John L. Fryer Aquatic Animal Health Laboratory
• Smith Farm Fisheries and Wildlife Office
• Plant Pathology
• Vegetable Lab
• Vegetable Farm
What do you need to do to prepare for this outage? Please make sure that all computers, printers, copiers, and other electronic devices are turned off prior to Sunday, April 2nd. If you have an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), also known as a battery back-up, please be sure to turn it off as well. The building will not have network connectivity during this power outage, i.e. no wireless, wired internet or VoIP phone connectivity. Anything that relies on the network will not be functional.

9/18/23: Emergency Shutdown: Water Service Shutdown Kidder Hall- Restored
Update: 9/18/23- Water service has been restored.
Water service will be shut down in Kidder Hall on Monday, September 18, 2023, for an emergency repair. Water will be shut off for the entire building, including all restrooms. A second notice will follow when services have been restored.

8/5/23: Wiegand Hall Water & Restroom Shutdown 6:00 am – 4:30 pm
The water and restrooms in Wiegand Hall will be shut down August 5, 2023, from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm and closed in the entire building to tie in new plumbing for the Smoke Lab. This affects all toilets, sinks, drinking fountains and lab sinks throughout the building.

8/4/23: Hot Water Shutdown in the Crop Science Building 6:00 am – 4:30 pm.
The hot water will be shut down in the Crop Science Building August 4, 2023, from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm to install a hot water line to the bakery. This will affect the hot water building wide.
