7/22/25: Water Shutdown in Women’s Building 6:00 am – 8:00 am

The water will be shut down in Women’s Building July 22, 2025 from 6:00 am to 8:00 am for replacement of malfunctioning angle stop. This will affect all water in restrooms, custodial closets, sinks & drinking fountains.

EH&S has asked us to remind building occupants thatwater will not be available to emergency eyewash/shower units, and occupants should discontinue all hazardous substance use (chemicals, unsealed radioisotopes, and biohazardous materials) for the duration of the shutdown

The domestic hot water will be shut down in Graf Hall July 23, 2025 from 6:30 am to 1:00 pm to tie in hot water for sink in room 106. This will affect all domestic hot water in restrooms, breakrooms & custodial closets.

7/13/25: Water Shutdown in Magruder Hall 6:00 am – 5:00 pm.

The water will be shut off in Magruder Hall July 13, 2025 from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm for the repair of a main line water leak. This will affect water building wide.

7/7-7/31/25: Sidewalk Closure between Memorial Union Brick Mall and Strand Agriculture Building

Due to contractor work being performed in the Memorial Union Quad the area in the yellow dotted line area will be impacted by construction work. The green dotted marked sidewalk will be closed for access (see map) beginning Monday, July 7 – Thursday, July 31, 2025. Part of the brick mall will be closed off but access will remain. Access will only be blocked off while contractors are on site working.

The building air fans will be shut down one at a time to perform preventive maintenance and change air filters in Ag. Life & Sciences July 11, 2025 6:30 am – 11:00 am. Building occupants may notice slight pressure & air flow changes throughout the building.

7/2025: Campus Wide Generator Testing

Facilities Services will be performing annual load bank testing for the below listed building emergency/ stand-by generators.  Each test will take approximately 3 hours. There may be excessive noise and possible exhaust fume odors associated with testing.  Each generator will be refueled after testing.
