Power will be shut down by Pacific Power in Gilbert Hall, Graf Hall and the Dearborn Motor Lab March 27, 2025, from 5:00 pm through March 28 at 5:00 am for the installation of new power poles and service along Monroe Avenue in support of the HCIC project. This will affect power building wide in Gilbert and Graf Halls and the Motor Lab area only in Dearborn. Gilbert and Graf will remain closed for the duration of the outage. Please remind building occupants to close fume hood sashes before leaving on Thursday, March 27^th.

What do you need to do to prepare for this outage?

Please make sure that all computers, printers, copiers and other electronic devices are turned off prior to March 27^th at 5pm. If you have an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), also known as a battery back-up, please be sure to turn it off as well. Please ensure that all fume hoods are closed before leaving the labs.
