  • North sidewalk on SW Ralph Miller Lane at the northwest side of Reser Stadium
  • North sidewalk on SW Jefferson Way, outside of Gladys Valley Gymnastics Center
  • North sidewalk on SW Jefferson Way, outside of Sackett Hall
  • North sidewalk on SW Jefferson Way, outside of Hinsdale Wave Research Lab
  • ADA ramp area on the east side of the Energy Center
  • South sidewalk on SW Campus Way, between Linus Pauling Science Center and Nash Hall

Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the work areas.

As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, Washington Way will be closed between 15th St. and Benton Place on Friday, August 16 from 7 A.M. to 12 P.M. Crosswalks and sidewalks in the area will remain open.

Two sections of SW Jefferson Way will be fully closed in both directions to allow for speed bump work. Sidewalks will remain open for pedestrians. Please see below for schedule and locations.

Friday, 8/16: Jefferson Way closed between 30th and 35th St.

Monday, 8/19: Jefferson Way closed between 26th and 30th St.

As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, flaggers will be present to direct traffic at the intersection of SW 35th St. and SW Washington Way starting Friday, August 9 and continuing intermittently through Friday, August 16. Minor traffic delays should be expected.

The east-west crosswalk on the north side of the intersection will be closed.

As part of the Jen-Hsun Huang and Lori Mills Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex project, traffic will be restricted to a single lane on NW Monroe Ave. at NW 25th St. to allow for intersection work. This closure will be in effect starting Monday, August 12 through Friday, August 23, from 8:30 A.M to 4:30 P.M. each day.

The north-south crosswalk at Monroe Ave. and 25th St. will be closed. Several city parking spaces to the east and west of the intersection, on the north side of Monroe Ave., will be closed.

Flaggers will be present at the intersection to direct traffic through the area. Other possible impacts include noise near the work site.

As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, the multi-use path on SW Washington Way between SW 30th and SW 35th St. will be closed from Monday, August 12 – Friday, September 13. A temporary pedestrian detour will be available along the new pedestrian path located on the north side of Washington Way.

Washington Way between SW 30th and SW 35th St. will remain closed to vehicle traffic.
