Pacific Power is scheduling a power outage to make repairs to equipment at Gill Coliseum. The outage will be Wednesday December 27th beginning at 5:00 am with an estimated completion time of 7 am. Please see the list of impacted buildings below. These buildings will be closed to the public during the outage.
Affected buildings:
• Bloss Hall
• Finley Hall
• Arnold Dining Center
• Dixon Recreation Center
• Gill Coliseum
What do you need to do to prepare for this outage? Please make sure that all computers, printers, copiers, and other electronic devices are turned off prior to 12/27/23. If you have an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), also known as a battery back-up, please be sure to turn it off as well. The building will not have network connectivity during this power outage, i.e. no wireless, wired internet or VoIP phone connectivity. Anything that relies on the network will not be functional.

12/18 – 26th St. Northbound Closed Between Western Blvd & Washington Way
As part of the LaSells Stewart Center Mechanical & Roof Renewal project, the northbound lane of SW 26th St. will be closed on Monday, December 18 to allow for crane activity. The closure will extend from SW Western Blvd to SW Washington Way. Flaggers will be present in the area to direct southbound traffic on 26th St.
A section of the east sidewalk on 26th St. will be closed from Western Blvd. to CH2M Hill Alumni Center. Pedestrians may use the west sidewalk as a detour.
PLEASE NOTE: this notification is one of four road closures or construction zones will be impacting travel on 26th St. between Western Blvd. and Orchard Ave. during the period of December 18 – January 5. See locations and dates below:

12/20 – 1/5: Flagging Operations on 26th St. from Campus Way to Monroe Ave.
As part of early construction work related to the Jen-Hsun & Lori Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex project, there will be intermittent flagging operations along SW 26th St. between SW Campus Way and NW Monroe Ave from Wednesday, December 20 through Friday, January 5. Flaggers will direct drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians through the construction zone.

12/15-1/5/24: Sidewalk closures near Johnson Hall on north, south and east sides of the building
As part of early work for the Jen-Hsun & Lori Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex project, sidewalks on the north, south and east sides of Johnson Hall will be closed to pedestrians from Monday, December 18 through January 5, 2024.

12/18 – 12/29: Intersection Closed at 26th St. & Washington Way
As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, the north side of the intersection at SW Washington Way and SW 26th Street will be closed from Monday, December 18 – Friday, December 29. A section of 26th St. will be closed between Washington Way and Dixon Recreation Center.
The east side of this intersection is closed under a previous notification.
Pedestrians may use the multi-use path on the south side of Washington Way as a detour around the area.
Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the work site.

12/10/23 Notice: Steam Shutdown Richardson Hall 7 a.m. -4:30 p.m.
All steam services will be shut down at Richardson Hall, Sunday, December 10, 2023, from 7 a.m. -4:30 p.m. while work is being performed on the main steam line. 11/22: Sidewalk Closed On A Ave. Near Pride Center
As part of the Pride Center Renovation project, a section of the north sidewalk on SW A Avenue, between SW 15th and SW 16th Streets, will be closed to allow for construction activity on Wednesday, November 22 from 7 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.
Pedestrians may cross A Avenue at either 15th or 16th Street and use the south sidewalk as a detour.

9/26-9/29: Parking Space Closures in the Richardson & Dryden Parking Lots
As part of the 2023 Parking Maintenance project, multiple parking spaces in the Richardson and Dryden parking lots will be closed from Tuesday, September 26 through Friday, September 29 to allow for landscaping work. The parking lots will remain open during this project. Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the worksite.

Convergint will be performing repairs on the fire alarm system for Covell Hall & Batcheller Hall on September 21, 2023 7:00 am – 4:00 pm. During the time repairs are being performed, alarms may sound.
