The North District Utility Plant will be shut down Wednesday morning, April 3rd, from 7am – 12pm to allow for an electrical contractor to replace recalled circuit breakers under warranty. This will affect chilled water delivery to ALS, Nash and Burt Hall and could cause some building temperature fluctuations.

The District Utility Plant will be shut down Friday morning February 23rd from 8 am – 2 pm to allow for new piping supplying Burt Hall to be connected to the system and properly bled. This will affect chilled water delivery to ALS, Nash and Cordley and could cause some building temperature fluctuations.

Due to a chilled water line failure on the east side of Cordley Hall, the North District Utility Plant will be shut down until the failed line can be located and repairs are complete. This shutdown will affect cooling systems in all impacted areas, including all floors of Cordley West, ALS , Nash, Burt and Wilkinson Halls.

Functional testing will again include integration with the existing chilled water loop beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, October 25 through 5 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021. Ag Life Sciences, Nash Hall, Cordley Hall, Wilkinson Hall and the Burt Complex could see chilled water flow and temperature fluctuations as a result of the testing procedures.

Functional testing will include integration with the existing chilled water loop beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, October 11, 2021 through 5 p.m. on Friday, October 15, 2021. The Agricultural & Life Sciences Building, Nash Hall, Cordley Hall, Wilkinson Hall and the Burt Complex could see chilled water flow and temperature fluctuations as a result of the testing procedures. The NDUP is located along NW Orchard Avenue next to Cordley Hall.

As part of the North District Utility Plant (NDUP) project, work to provide electrical service to the NDUP, located along NW Orchard Avenue, is scheduled to start on Monday, March 29, 2021 through Friday, April 16, 2021. Work could create possible extended construction activity and noise, and/or noise during normal business hours. A roadway closure for SW 26th Street between Campus Way and Monroe Avenue and a partial parking lot closure for the Bates Hall lot (lot #3313) are also scheduled as part of the work.

As part of the North District Utility Plant (NDUP) project, a large concrete pour is scheduled at the NDUP work site along NW Orchard Avenue on Monday, March 1, 2021. We have applied for and been granted a noise permit through the City of Corvallis for this work. The nearby residential neighbors were notified via informational flyer no later than Wednesday, February 24, 2021. If you are in the area between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9 p.m., on Monday, March 1, 2021, you will experience construction noise and activities later into the evening than normal.
