For work related to the Completing Reser Stadium project, outside air for multiple buildings including the Valley Football Center, Merritt Truax Indoor Center, and Magruder Hall, will be shut down from 7:30-8:30 a.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022 during the planned implosion of the stadium’s west side.

For work related to Pacific Power system upgrades, electrical trenching and vault placement will take place along SW Washington Way near the Magruder Hall Northeast Lot (parking lot #3360) in the evenings after business hours. Parking lot #3360 will be closed in the evenings to provide access for construction vehicles. Work is scheduled to start after 5 p.m. on the evenings of Wednesday, May 26 through Friday, May 28, 2021. This ongoing work supports Pacific Power’s power infrastructure and prepares for future upgrades to SW Washington Way.

Parking Lot #3360 area map

All steam services for the following buildings will be shut down on January 14, 2021 from 6am -12pm,  to replace the expansion joint on the condensate system.  This will affect all steam services throughout, Richardson Hall, Dryden Hall, Magruder Hall, Vet Research Lab, Lab Animal Resources Center, Vet Dairy Barn & Merritt Truax Indoor Center

As part of the Magruder Hall Renovation and Addition, chiller 4 at Magruder Hall is scheduled to be shut down for wiring work (view map). The shutdown is scheduled to start on Thursday, Nov. 5 through Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020. The chiller will be off for a total of three days. The main panel will be turned off and a planned electrical shutdown for the building will occur for approximately two hours on Saturday, Nov. 7.
