As part of the Jen-Hsun Huang and Lori Mills Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex project, SW 26th St. will be closed between NW Orchard Ave. and NW Monroe Ave. on Saturday, May 17 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The east sidewalk will be closed in this area. The west sidewalk will remain open.

As part of the Gilkey Hall Renovation project, the sidewalk between Gilkey Hall and Strand Hall will be closed on Thursday, May 1 to accommodate a boom lift working in the area. Pedestrians exiting Strand on the north side of the building may detour around the closure by traveling west on the walkway through People’s Park.

As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, the Washington Way multi-use path on the south side of Washington Way will be closed starting Wednesday, April 30 through Saturday, May 31. The mid-block crossing at Goss Stadium will remain open. SW May Way will be closed to vehicle traffic, with the exception of delivery vehicles.
Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the work area.

This is an update on a water pipeline and road improvement project led by the city of Corvallis. Work is expected to continue through September 2025. Impacts for the week of April 14th – 18th
Traffic on Western Blvd. between West Hills Rd. and SW 35th St. will be limited to a single lane and controlled by flaggers. All lanes will reopen at the end of each workday.
The signal at SW 35th St. and Western Blvd. will be shut down and become a four-way stop. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic. The intersection will remain open in all directions. The signal will be restored at the end of each workday.
Bike lanes will be closed and bikes will ride with traffic.
The sidewalk on the north side of Western Blvd. will be closed. Pedestrians traveling on Western Blvd. between 30th and 35th St. may detour around the area using the south sidewalk.
Access to local driveways will be maintained and signage will be posted to keep the Western Building driveways clear while the intersection signal is shut down.
Please note: a full closure of the SW 35th St./Western Blvd. intersection is scheduled to start on April 28th. Details regarding this closure will be available in the next update.

Due to contractor work being performed in the Memorial Union Quad the red marked sidewalk will be closed for access (see map) beginning Monday, April 14, 2025 from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. This work will also include increased intermittent noise during the first several hours of the closure.

SAFETY UPDATE: there have been escalating safety concerns at the intersection of Washington Way and SW 26th St. due to drivers ignoring posted signage, driving around barriers and attempting to enter active construction zones. Please read signs and follow detours carefully. Your help and support in maintaining a safe environment is greatly appreciated.
The intersection at SW 26th St. and SW Washington Way will be closed in all directions starting on Monday, April 7 through Monday, April 28.
East and west sidewalks on SW 26th St. will be closed between Washington Way and Dixon Recreation Center. Pedestrians and bicyclists may detour around the area using the walkway south of Dixon, bordering the sand volleyball courts. The multi-use path on the south side of Washington Way will remain open.
