11/21/22: Intermittent elevator interruptions in Cordley Hall West
As part of the Cordley Hall Renewal Project, there will be intermittent elevator interruptions in Cordley Hall West. Work is scheduled to take place between 8 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2022.

11/10/22 @ 11:15am Operation to the freight elevator has been restored.

7/25-9/9/2022: Planned elevator shutdown in Owen Hall
For work related to the Owen Hall classroom improvements and elevator update project, a planned elevator shutdown is scheduled to start at 7 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2022 through Friday, September 9, 2022. The elevator shutdown includes all floors in the building.

1/5-2/25/2022: Planned elevator shutdown for Rogers Hall
A planned shutdown for the elevator located in Rogers Hall is scheduled to start on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 through Friday, February 25, 2022. Renovation work will be performed during the shutdown. Impacted buildings include Rogers Hall, Graf Hall and Dearborn Hall.

12/30/2021-1/1/2022: Rescheduled planned power outages for multiple buildings in Community Hall Slope Project area
For work related to the Community Hall Slope Project, a series of planned power outages are scheduled. The planned power outages will impact multiple buildings located along or near SW Jefferson Way in the Community Hall Slope Project work area. Planned outages are scheduled from Thursday, December 30, 2021 through Saturday, January 1, 2022.
The following buildings will be without power from 6-8 a.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021:
• Buxton Hall
• Callahan Hall
• Cauthorn Hall
• Gladys Valley Gymnastics Center
• Hattie Redmond Women and Gender Center
• Hawley Hall
• Heckart Lodge
• Joyce Collin Furman Hall
• Kerr Administration Building
• McAlexander Field House
• McNary Dining Hall
• McNary Hall
• Pharmacy Building – Will not have access to existing generator
• Poling Hall
• Reed Lodge
• Snell Hall
• West Dining Hall
• Wilson Hall
The following buildings will be without power starting at 8 a.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 through 6 p.m. on Friday, December 31, 2021:

*Please note that Joyce Collin Furman Hall may be without power through midday on Saturday, January 1, 2022.
What do you need to do to prepare for this outage? Please make sure that all computers, printers, copiers, and other electronic devices are turned off prior to Thursday, December 30, 2021. If you have an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), also known as a battery back-up, please be sure to turn it off as well. As necessary, be prepared to have someone report to campus following the planned outages to turn computers, printers and other electronic devices back on.

10/14 & 10/15/2021: Temporary elevator and sidewalk shutdowns for Owen Hall
As part of the Owen Hall Renovation Project, a temporary elevator shutdown is scheduled from 7 to 9 a.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2021 to upgrade the fire alarm system in the building. The first and second floors of Owen Hall can be accessed by using Kearney Hall and the sky bridge.

A temporary sidewalk closure in the area around the Owen Hall loading dock is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily starting Thursday, October 14 through Friday, October 15, 2021. A crew will be working on the roof of the building to install antenna locations for a DAS system.

10/1/21: Emergency Elevator Shutdown- Heckart Lodge
The elevator at Heckart Lodge is currently shut down for emergency repairs. A restoral date is unknown at this time, replacement parts are on order, and we will provide updates as they are available.
8/9-8/12/2021: Southwest elevator shutdown scheduled at Nash Hall
As part of the Nash Hall Elevator project, the southwest elevator in Nash Hall will be out of service starting on Monday, Aug. 9 through Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021. The northeast elevator in Nash Hall will remain in service during this work. Work includes code-required modifications to fire sprinkler heads and associated electrical systems, which necessitates the temporary shutdown of the water to the fire suppression system and temporary disabling of associated alarms. A final elevator inspection is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021.
