Pacific Power will be decommissioning obsolete equipment located in Dearborn hall on Saturday, January 7th from 6 am-9 am. Power will be shut down to the following buildings while this work is being performed, Gilkey Hall, Gleeson Hall, Gilbert Addition, Dearborn Hall, Rogers Hall, Community Hall, and Milne Computer Center. 9/30/2022: Electrical shutdown scheduled for west wing of Oak Creek Building from 6-10 a.m.
For work related to the Oak Creek greenhouse project, an electrical shutdown is scheduled for the west wing of the Oak Creek Building. The electrical shutdown is scheduled to occur from 6-10 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2022. The shutdown will impact the first and second floors of the building’s west wing, and lunch room 227 on the second floor.
The three stand-up freezers within the west wing of the building will be temporarily powered by generators during the shutdown. The walk-in cooler in the older wood greenhouse building will be temporarily powered by back feeding the building panel from the electrical panel inside the existing greenhouse.

What do you need to do to prepare for this outage? Please make sure that all computers, printers, copiers, and other electronic devices are turned off prior to the start of the scheduled stand-by generator testing. If you have an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), also known as a battery back-up, please be sure to turn it off as well.
8/26/2022: Planned 480v power shutdown for Owen Hall from 5-8 a.m.
For work related to the Owen Hall Classroom Remodel Project, a planned 480v power shutdown is scheduled for Owen Hall from 5-8 a.m. on Friday, August 26, 2022. This shutdown will include the fourth floor cleanroom and some 480v equipment in research labs throughout Owen Hall.

8/18/2022: Planned power outage scheduled for multiple buildings from 5-7 a.m.
For work related to the Cordley Hall Renewal Project, a planned power outage is scheduled from 5-7 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2022 for the following buildings on Oregon State University’s Corvallis campus:
- Ballard Extension
- Cordley Hall- East side
- Gilmore Hall
- Nash Hall
- Withycombe Hall
- Women’s Building
This is the rescheduled date for the planned power outage originally scheduled for August 8.

12/21/2021: Planned power outages scheduled for Langton, Moreland and Waldo halls
For work related to the Fairbanks Hall Renovation Project, planned power outages are scheduled for Tuesday, December 21, 2021 and will impact Langton, Moreland and Waldo halls. Pacific Power and Fortis Construction will coordinate and work to install a new vault, transformer, and feeds during the planned power outages.
