As part of the 2023 Street Safety Project, SW Campus Way between SW 14th St. and SW Pioneer Place will be closed on Thursday, July 6 from 7 A.M. to 1 P.M., except to allow traffic to exit eastbound from Pioneer Place. Workers in the area will be directing traffic, moving equipment and allowing drivers to exit from Pioneer Place as necessary. The westbound lane from 14th St to Pioneer Place will be closed to all traffic.  Vehicles needing access to Pioneer Place may detour around the work area via SW Jefferson Way and enter from the eastbound lane on Campus Way. In addition, the dedicated parking spaces for the School of Civil and Construction Engineering will be closed for the duration of the project.

Sidewalks will remain open for pedestrians. Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the construction site.

As part of the Summer 2023 Parking Lot Renewal Project, two parking lots on SW Campus Way will be closed this week.

The National Forage Seed Center parking lot will be closed on Wednesday, July 5 & Thursday, July 6.

The Crop Science Building West parking lot will be closed from Wednesday, July 5 – Friday, July 7.

As part of the Withycombe Hall Renovation project, the north sidewalk on SW Campus Way between the East Greenhouses and SW 30th St. will be closed to pedestrian traffic from June 30, 2023 through August 31, 2024. Pedestrians may detour across Campus Way at the crosswalk located directly in front of the East Greenhouses or at the intersection with 30th St. and use the south sidewalk.

As part of the West Greenhouse Improvement Project, a section of the westbound lane and the north sidewalk on SW Campus Way will be closed between the greenhouses and the Seed Laboratory on Thursday, June 22 from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. The impacted section is located in front of the West Greenhouse Complex parking lot entrance. Drivers should expect to see flaggers in the area. Pedestrians may detour around the closure using the crosswalks located at SW 30th Street. and the Seed Laboratory.

SW Campus Way will be closed daily from 8 A.M until 3 P.M to all vehicle, pedestrian and bicycle traffic from June 19th through June 30th for brush clearing and spraying. Work will occur Monday through Friday. The route will reopen after 3 P.M. on weekdays and remain fully open on weekends. The closure will begin just west of the Feed Center and continue down Campus Way to 53rd St.

As part of the West Greenhouse Improvement Project, a section of the eastbound lane on SW Campus Way will be closed along with a section of the south sidewalk on Friday, May 5 from 7 AM to 4PM. The impacted section is located between SW 30th and SW 35th Streets in front of the Motor Pool West and National Forage Seed Center East parking lots. The parking lots will remain open. However, the east entrance to the NFSC East parking lot will be closed and multiple parking spaces will be unavailable.

Drivers should expect to see flaggers directing traffic around the closure. A pedestrian detour will be available along the north sidewalk.

The impacted section is located immediately west of the Seed Laboratory, between SW 30th and SW 35th Streets. Pedestrians approaching from the east or west may detour across Campus Way using the crosswalk located just east of the Seed Laboratory.

Drivers should expect to see flagging crews in the area. Pedestrians may travel along the north or south sidewalk and then detour across SW Campus Way at the crosswalk located at the Seed Laboratory. Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the construction site.
