2/21: SW Campus Way closed between SW 30th St and bollards outside of LPSC

As part of the Withycombe Hall Renovation project, SW Campus Way will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic for a crane pick. This closure will be in effect on Friday, February 21 from 8 a.m. to 5:30. The sidewalks on SW CampusWay will also be closed in this area; pedestrians may navigate around the south side of LPSC.

1/6 – 1/13: Campus Way Closure Between SW 30th St. & the ALS Building

As part of the Withycombe Hall Renovation project, a section of SW Campus Way will be closed between SW 30th St. and the Agricultural and Life Sciences Building starting on Monday, January 6.

Please see the closure schedule below:

  • 1/6: eastbound lane closed between SW 30th St. and the ALS Building. Single-lane traffic permitted. The south sidewalk will be closed in front of Linus Pauling Science Center. Flaggers will be present to direct pedestrians and vehicles through the area.

  • 1/7 – 1/13: full road closure between SW 30th St. and the ALS Building. No vehicle traffic permitted. A detour for emergency vehicles will be provided. The south sidewalk will be open for pedestrians.

SW Campus Way will reopen after 5:30 p.m. each day to allow vehicle access after work hours.

12/9 – SW Campus Way Single Lane Traffic & Sidewalk Closure

As part of the Withycombe Hall Renovation project, the eastbound lane on SW Campus Way will  be closed between SW 30th St. and Nash Hall on Monday, December 9, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Both the north and south sidewalks in this section of Campus Way will be closed.

Flaggers will be present to direct vehicles and pedestrians through the work zone.

Other possible impacts include noise near the work area.

12/5 – SW Campus Way Single Lane Traffic & Sidewalk Closure

As part of the Withycombe Hall Renovation project, the eastbound lane on SW Campus Way will  be closed between SW 30th St. and Nash Hall on Thursday, December 5, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Both the north and south sidewalks in this section of Campus Way will be closed.

Flaggers will be present to direct vehicles and pedestrians through the work zone.

Other possible impacts include noise near the work area.

10/25 – 10/29: Withycombe Hall/East Greenhouses Fire Lane Closed

As part of the Withycombe Hall Renovation project, the access road/fire lane located between Withycombe Hall and the East Greenhouses will be closed starting Friday, October 25 – Tuesday, October 29.

The closure will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

A temporary pathway will be available for pedestrians traveling through the work zone.

Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.

9/28 – Campus Way Lane and Sidewalk Closure

As part of the Withycombe Hall Renovation project, a section of the south sidewalk and eastbound lane on SW Campus Way will be closed on Saturday, September 28. The impacted section is located between SW 30th St. and the Agricultural and Life Sciences Building. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic.

6/17 – 8/30: 30th St. Sidewalk Closure Campus Way to Orchard Ave.

As part of the Withycombe Hall Renovation project, the east sidewalk on SW 30th St. will be closed between SW Campus Way and NW Orchard Ave. starting Monday, June 17 through Friday, August 30.

Pedestrians may use the west sidewalk on 30th St. as a detour.

5/20/24: Emergency Shutdown: Linus Pauling, Withycombe, Crop Science, Wiegand, East Greenhouse and the East end of the West Greenhouse – Water Shutdown-Restoral time unknown

The City of Corvallis has informed OSU that the buildings listed above will be without water while they work to make emergency repairs on a water main break that occurred overnight. This shutdown will affect fire sprinklers, restrooms, labs and drinking fountains throughout these buildings. Restrooms will be available in adjacent buildings. An update will be sent out when more information becomes available.
