The North District Utility Plant will be shut down Wednesday morning, April 3rd, from 7am – 12pm to allow for an electrical contractor to replace recalled circuit breakers under warranty. This will affect chilled water delivery to ALS, Nash and Burt Hall and could cause some building temperature fluctuations.

NW Orchard Ave. will resume two-way traffic between NW 27th and NW 30th Streets starting on Friday, March 15 at 3 P.M. The street was previously limited to one-way traffic due to construction activity related to the Cordley Hall Renewal project.

As part of the Cordley Hall Renewal project, standby generator testing and transfer switch testing will occur on Tuesday, March  12 from 6 am – 8 am. This work may result in generator noise in the area.


What do Cordley Hall residents need to do to prepare for this testing?
 Please make sure that all computers, printers, copiers and other electronic devices are turned off prior to Tuesday, March 12. If you have an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), also known as a battery back-up, please be sure to turn it off as well.

Due to an emergency sewer line repair associated with the Cordley Hall Renewal project, a vacuum truck will be working in the area just east of Cordley Hall through Tuesday, March 12. This work may result in noise impacts for building occupants and the surrounding area.
