As part of the Nash Hall Cooling Tower Replacement project, the Sackett Hall North parking lot (#3303) will be partially closed on Monday, November 6 to allow for crane activity. The closure will impact parking spaces on the east side of the lot, closest to Nash Hall. The south-west basement and south first floor entrances to Nash Hall will also be closed. The north-east entrance and the loading dock will remain open.

In addition, the walkway that runs along the west side of Nash Hall will also be closed. Pedestrians may detour around the area via walkways on the south, east and north sides of the building.

Other possible impacts include noise near the work site.

This is an update to a previous notification.

This update is to clarify pedestrian access on SW Washington Way and SW 26th St. during the closure scheduled for Monday, August 28 through Friday, September 1.

The south and west crosswalks at the intersection of SW 26th St. and SW Washington Way will remain open during this closure. The crosswalk on 26th St. at the OSU Beaver Store will also remain open.

A section of the east sidewalk on 26th St., near Dixon Recreation Center, will be closed. Pedestrians may use the west sidewalk, across from Dixon, to detour around the work site. The crosswalk on 26th St., at the entrance to Dixon, will also remain open.

The route extends north along the west sidewalk and across 26th St. at the crosswalk in front of Dixon Recreation Center. As part of the LaSells Stewart Center Mechanical and Roof Renewal project, a section of the northbound lane on SW 26th St., between SW Western Blvd. and the CH2M HILL Alumni Center, will be closed to allow for crane activity on Wednesday, August 9 from 7  A.M. to 11 A.M. Flaggers will be present in the area to direct traffic.

In addition,  a section of the sidewalk on the east side of 26th St. will be closed along with the crosswalk near the front entrance and the walkway on the north side of The LaSells Stewart Center. The west sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians.

As part of the Jen-Hsun & Lori Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex project, the south-west section of the Park Terrace St. East parking lot, located just north of Plageman Hall, will be closed for restriping and construction prep work.

This is a two-part closure. The restriping work will occur on Wednesday, August 9 and Thursday, August 10. The impacted section of the parking lot will then reopen. The second closure will impact the ADA and reserved parking spaces closest to Plageman and will be in effect through December 31. This section will be enclosed with construction fencing, which will extend onto the sidewalk on the east side of SW Park Terrace Place.

The construction fencing enclosure will obstruct a small section of the sidewalk on either side of the first parking lot entrance north of Plageman. The walkway along the north side of Plageman, bordering the ADA parking spaces, will also be closed through December 31.

As part of the Kerr South Parking Lot project, the south entrance of the Kerr Administration Building will be closed along with the south sidewalk, the ADA ramp and the west walkway. This closure will be in effect through August 31.

ADA access will be maintained via the east entrance between the Kerr A and B buildings.

The sidewalk east of the building along SW 15th St. will also remain closed (see previous notification). Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the work site.

As part of the Kelly District Utility Plant project, a section of SW 26th St. will be closed at the intersection with NW Orchard Ave. to allow for crane activity on Tuesday, July 18, from 6:30 – 10:00 A.M. The east sidewalk along 26th St. will be closed between the Park Terrace St. West parking lot entrance and Johnson Hall. The walkway along the north side of Johnson Hall will also be closed.

The intersection at 26th St. and Orchard Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic, but the crosswalk and the west sidewalk along 26th St. will remain open for pedestrians. Drivers should expect to see flaggers in the area.

The 26th St. entrance to the Park Terrace St. West lot (A2) near the Ocean Administration Building will be closed, but the parking lot will remain accessible from SW Park Terrace Place.

Other possible impacts include noise near the work site.

As part of the Memorial Union Quad Concrete Repair project, multiple concrete walkways on the west side of the MU Quad area will have limited pedestrian access from Monday, July 10 – Friday, July 14. The impacted walkways are the interior paths that extend from the western half of the quad into the center. Pedestrians may continue to use the perimeter walkways for east-west travel.

This is an extension of a previous closure.

The Campus Way multi-use path will be closed daily from 8 A.M until 3 P.M to all vehicle, pedestrian and bicycle traffic through Friday, July 7 for brush clearing and spraying. Work will occur Monday through Friday. The route will reopen after 3 P.M. on weekdays and remain fully open on weekends. The closure will begin just west of the Feed Center and continue down Campus Way to 53rd St.
