As part of the Kelley District Utility Plant project, the steam system will be shut down in Johnson Hall on Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18 to allow for steam piping repairs in the mechanical room. The building will be without hot water during the shutdown and may experience temperature fluctuations. The 4th floor women’s restroom will also be closed during the shutdown.

The steam system will be shut down in the Agricultural & Life Sciences Building starting Tuesday, August 22 at 4:30 P.M. The system is expected to resume normal operations on Friday, August 25 at 10:00 A.M.
The shutdown will allow for necessary steam pipe repairs and equipment replacement. This shutdown will impact all floors in the ALS building. During the shutdown, autoclaves, drying cabinets, humidifiers and hot water in laboratories will be unavailable.
The hot water in breakrooms and restrooms will not be impacted by this shutdown.

This process affects hot water supply, heating, and all equipment that uses steam, building wide.
