Starting Monday, November 22, 2021, more than 20 parking lots and the OSU parking garage will be closed for sweeping and leaf pickup. Parking lots will reopen as the work is completed, and all lots are expected to be reopened by the end of the business day on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and appreciate your understanding while parking lots are cleared of leaves and debris. As part of the Graf Hall Renovation Project, ongoing construction work is scheduled to take place in and around the building starting on Friday, October 29 through Friday, November 5, 2021 (view map).

Planned construction activities include:

Friday, October 29

  • Excavation on west side of Graf Hall parking lot (lot #3221), near Dearborn Hall. Excavator may be moving around to other locations in the lot.
  • Dump trucks hauling in and out.
  • Lot can remain open, but there will be fewer spaces available and there may be times that entry/exit may be blocked. 
  • Structural work continuing on bridge between Rogers Hall and Strand Hall.
  • Walkway from Monroe Street to Graf Hall parking lot (lot #3221) closed.
  • Exit doors from Rogers Hall will be marked closed except in emergency.

Tuesday, November 2 or Wednesday, November 3 (Actual date weather-dependent)

  • Concrete pour for ADA parking 
  • South entry to Graf Hall closed (will direct pedestrians to north entry of building)
  • May affect some parking spaces, vehicle circulation in Graf Hall parking lot (lot #3221). 

Wednesday, November 3

  • Deliver and install Electrical vaults. Graf Hall parking lot will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians.

Thursday, November 4 and Friday, November 5

  • Removal of oil tank near north entry to Graf Hall, and backfill of hole. Please note that this work will block the sidewalk and north entry to Graf Hall. 
  • South lane of traffic will be blocked. 
  • Flaggers will direct traffic in street.

The Fairbanks Hall Renovation Project is now in construction. Due to truck delivery activity, to avoid trucks attempting to stage and offload directly on Jefferson Street, safety concerns, and clearances required in the construction area, the ADA parking spaces located on the west side of the Fairbanks Hall parking lot (lot #3301) will be offline for use starting Friday, September 10, 2021 (view map). Click here to view a map of nearby ADA parking spaces. You can expect increased activities at the building site and an increase in truck traffic on Jefferson Way, to and from 35th Street.

As part of the Graf Hall Renovation Project, the Monroe Ave. and 16th Street parking lot (lot #3221), located south of Graf Hall, will be closed for construction starting on Monday, August 30, 2021 through Tuesday, September 21, 2021. The accessible spaces at the east end of the lot adjacent to Merryfield Hall will remain open.

As part of the Arts and Education Complex project, half of the Kerr parking lot will be closed for waterline construction. Work is scheduled to start on Monday, August 23, 2021 through Monday, September 13, 2021.

As part of the Fairbanks Hall renovation project, abatement work is scheduled to start on Monday, June 21, 2021. Five parking spaces and one service parking space on the east side of the Fairbanks Hall parking lot (Lot # 3301) will remain offline for campus and public use for approx. five to six weeks.

As part of the Campus Operations building project, partial closures are scheduled for the Western Building parking lot. The partial lot closures are scheduled to start on Monday, Feb. 8 through Friday, Feb. 12, 2021. The west half of the parking lot will be closed for storm line work from Monday, Feb. 8 through Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021. The east half of the parking lot will be closed for storm line work from Thursday, Feb. 11 through Friday, Feb. 12, 2021.

As part of the Reser West Stadium Expansion Project, seven parking spaces, including spaces 902-908, in parking lot #3281, located west of Reser Stadium, will be closed for geotechnical exploration work. The impacted parking spaces will be closed from Monday, June 29 to Wednesday, July 1, 2020.

As part of the Fairbanks Hall Renovation project, the geotech company working on the project will be drilling test holes and there will be a drill rig on site. The site will be set up in two electric vehicle spaces on the west side of Fairbanks Hall.

Work will take place along the west side of Benton Place between Jefferson Way and Langton Place to improve ADA accessibility in the area. This work will be non-invasive but will require that parking be removed on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020.
