The HVAC system will be shutdown In Richardson Hall & George W. Peavy Forest Science Center on Monday August 24, 2020 from 7:00 am – 5:30 pm for piping modification in George W. Peavy Forest Science Center cooling tower.  This will affect air conditioning building wide in both buildings except for the data closets.

The air handler on the first & second floor in the south corridor of Magruder Hall will be shut down for repairs on Thursday August 6, 2020 from 5:30 am – 8:00 am for repairs. The shutdown will affect air flow and temperatures throughout the building on the south side and has been scheduled for early in the morning to minimize impact on building occupants

Solarc will be performing commissioning activities on control systems for the fume hoods and HVAC systems in Richardson Hall on Wednesday, July 15th from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.  Systems will be shutdown individually one at a time to perform testing.  Building occupants will notice some air pressure and temperature fluctuations and fume hood sashes should remain closed during this time.

As part of the Research Way Lab Building Renovation Project, the HVAC heat pump system will be shut down in order to upgrade existing equipment, install new equipment and commission the entire building system. This work affects the cooling and heating of building spaces. There will be no heating or cooling throughout the building for this duration. Temporary accommodations have been made for current building tenants, SIGA and the Keck Lab / CEOAS.
