As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, SW Washington Way between SW 26th & SW 30th Streets will be closed through Tuesday, September 5. In addition, SW 26th St. will be closed between SW Ralph Miller Lane and SW Intramural Lane.

The south and west crosswalks at the intersection of 26th St. and Washington Way will remain open during this closure. The crosswalk on 26th St. at the OSU Beaver Store will also remain open.

A section of the east sidewalk on 26th St., near Dixon Recreation Center, will be closed. Pedestrians may use the west sidewalk, across from Dixon, to detour around the work site. The crosswalk on 26th St. at the entrance to Dixon will also remain open.

Pedestrian sidewalk access will be maintained on the west side of 26th St.

As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, SW Washington Way between SW 15th and SW 26th Streets will be closed to vehicle traffic from Monday, August 7 through Thursday, September 7. This is an update to the existing Washington Way closure.

In addition, the intersection and crosswalks at Washington Way and SW 17th St. will be closed. The sidewalk on the north side of Washington Way between 15th St. and SW Benton Place will also be closed. The multi-use path on the south side of Washington Way will remain open as a pedestrian detour.

Other possible impacts include noise, dust and mud near the work site.

As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, there will be a street lighting outage along the west side of SW 26th Street from SW Washington Way north to SW Intramural Lane. The outage will continue along the south side of SW Intramural Lane west to SW 30th Street.

This will be an overnight outage from Wednesday, June 28 until mid-day Thursday, June 29.

This is an update to a previous notification for a closure on SW 26th Street near Dixon Recreation Center. The road and west sidewalk closure will remain in place. The new pedestrian detour will be along the sidewalk that runs between the Coliseum Substation and the sand volleyball courts, just south of Dixon Recreation Center. Signs will be placed at the sidewalk endpoints on 26th Street and Washington Way to direct pedestrian traffic. The closures and pedestrian detour will remain in effect through July 3.

Two major projects related to the Washington Way Improvement Project will impact campus starting Monday, June 19 and continuing throughout the summer.

Washington Way will be fully closed between 17th and 26th Streets from June 20 through September 25 for road reconstruction work. The sidewalks on both sides of Washington Way will remain open.

The map shows a road closure on SW Washington Way between SW 17th and SW 26th Streets.

A second closure will impact 26th Street starting at the Washington Way intersection and extending 200 ft. to the north. This closure will be in effect from June 19 through July 3. The closure includes the entire roadway and the west sidewalk on 26th St. Parking spaces on the east side of 26th St. will remain open during construction.

As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, one lane on the north side of the intersection of SW 26th St. and SW Washington Way will be closed to vehicle traffic on Wednesday, June 14 from 7 A.M. to 9 A.M. The other two lanes will remain open at all times. Sidewalks and crosswalks will not be impacted. Other impacts include noise, dust and mud near the construction site.
