As part of the Kelly District Utility Plant project, Campus Way will be closed between 26th St. and Memorial Place starting Tuesday, March 12 through Friday, March 15 to allow for crane activity. The south entrance of Kelley Engineering Center will be closed.
The north sidewalk in this section of Campus Way will be closed to pedestrians. The south sidewalk will remain open as a detour.
Bicycle lanes in this section of Campus Way will be closed in both directions. A bicycle detour will be available along the walkway on the south side of Milam Hall.

As part of the Jen-Hsun & Lori Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex project, the Park Terrace St. East and Park Terrace St. West (A2) parking lots will be permanently closed, starting Monday, March 18. The impacted parking lots are located north of Johnson Hall and Plageman Student Health Center.
SW Park Terrace Place will also be permanently closed north of Plageman Student Health Center. Construction fencing will be placed around the area in preparation for further construction activity.

Pedestrian impacts
A section of the south sidewalk on Monroe Ave. between 26th St. and Memorial Place will be closed for the duration of the project.
Pedestrians may cross Monroe Ave. at 26th St. or Memorial Place and use the north sidewalk as a detour.
A section of the east sidewalk on 26th St. between Johnson Hall and the CEOAS Administration Building will be closed.
Pedestrians may use the west sidewalk and the crosswalk at the CEOAS Administration building as a detour.
The walkway between Johnson Hall and Plageman Student Health Center be closed.
The walkway south of the Lonnie B. Harris Black Cultural Center will be closed.
The walkway north of Johnson Hall will be closed.

The location of this closure has been changed. The SW Jefferson Way closure scheduled for Monday, December 18 – Friday, December 22 has been moved to the west and will now begin at the Student Experience Center and extend to SW 26th St. This will open up SW Waldo Place for northbound vehicle traffic. Washington Way Closed Between 26th – 30th St. Starting Dec. 18
Washington Way between 26th and 30th St. will be closed for construction starting on Monday, December 18 and continuing through the winter and spring 2024 terms.
Washington Way 17th – 26th St. Reopening Jan. 5
Construction activity between 17th and 26th St. will be finishing up over the next few weeks, depending on the weather. This section of Washington Way is expected to reopen by Friday, January 5. The two-way cycle track will also be opening and a separate Campus Notification will follow regarding the traffic pattern change in the area.
Washington Way & 26th Street Construction During Winter Break
During the period between December 18 and January 5, Washington Way will be closed all the way from 17th to 30th St. The north sidewalk will be closed. The multi-use path on the south side of Washington Way will be open for pedestrians.
In addition, the intersection at 26th St. and Washington Way will be closed from December 18 through December 29. The intersection will be closed in ALL DIRECTIONS.This is a significant change to the notification sent on 12/14 regarding this closure. The sidewalks will be closed on both sides of 26th Street from Washington Way to Dixon Recreation Center.

As part of work for the Memorial Union Roof and Gutter Renewal project, SW Jefferson Way between SW 26th Street and SW Benton Place will be closed to vehicle traffic starting Monday, December 18 through Friday, December 22 daily from 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM. In addition, the sidewalk on the north side of SW Jefferson Way, directly south of the Memorial Union will be closed. Pedestrians will be diverted to the sidewalk on the south side of SW Jefferson Way.

As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, the north side of the intersection at SW Washington Way and SW 26th Street will be closed from Monday, December 18 – Friday, December 29. A section of 26th St. will be closed between Washington Way and Dixon Recreation Center.
As part of the Washington Way Improvement project, SW Washington Way will be closed between SW 15th and SW 17th Streets on Friday, December 15 to allow for pavement striping. The intersections at SW 17th and SW Benton Place will be closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

As part of the Pride Center Renovation project, a section of SW May Ave. will be closed on Wednesday, December 13 and Thursday, December 14 from 7:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. on both days. The closed section will be located directly behind the Pride Center. In addition, several parking spaces bordering SW May Ave. will also be closed.
Other possible impacts include mud near the work site.
