The heating water exchanger will be shut down in The Valley Library March 21, 2022 6:00 am – 5:00 pm to replace bad gaskets on equipment. This will affect heating in the building.

The steam will be shut down in Sackett Hall, Austin Hall and Learning Innovation Center March 21, 4:00 pm – March 22, 2022 5:00 pm to repair a leaking steam gasket. This will affect all steam services, includes heat & hot water building wide.

Each year Facilities Services performs necessary maintenance on the university’s steam system, which requires shutting off the steam throughout campus, to complete maintenance services at the plant, throughout the steam tunnels and in each building. This process affects hot water supply, heating, and all equipment that uses steam, campus wide. The steam shutdown for 2022 will occur June 13th 7:00 am – June 16th, 2022 5:00 pm.
