For work related to Pacific Power system upgrades, Pacific Power will continue to perform electrical trenching and drilling work through the end of August 2021. Electrical trenching and drilling work started at the intersection of 35th Street and SW Washington Way in mid-April 2021. Ongoing work will occur on both sides of SW Washington Way between 35th Street and 30th Street. This work supports Pacific Power’s power infrastructure and prepares for future upgrades to SW Washington Way.
The schedule of work along SW Washington Way includes:
- Multi-Use Path trenching – July 6-7
- Boring (north of SW Washington Way) – July 15-16
- Finish work (north of SW Washington Way) July 26-Aug. 12
- Temporary fencing by Magruder Hall – Aug. 2
- Vault set – Aug. 6
