As part of the Graf Hall Renovation Project, work to connect a storm drain between Graf Hall and Rogers Hall is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2022. Vehicle access via the ramp from the Monroe Ave. & 16th St. parking lot (lot #3221) to the lower level will be restricted and pedestrians won’t be able to access the lower level area while work is taking place.

As part of the Graf Hall Renovation Project, a vacuum truck will be working on the north side of Graf Hall from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2022. This work will obstruct part of NW Monroe Avenue as well as a portion of the sidewalk. The contractor will be onsite to route traffic around the vacuum truck and direct pedestrians across NW Monroe Avenue while work is being performed.

For work related to the Completing Reser Stadium project, the temporary closure of 13 parking spaces just west of the Valley Football Center (Lot #3284) will allow for paving work to take place. The temporary parking closure is scheduled from 8 a.m.-5p.m. on Monday, February 14, 2022.

For work related to the Completing Reser Stadium project, southbound traffic along SW 26th Street near the entrance to the Reser Stadium Parking lot will be diverted into the northbound lane while excavation and pipe installation work is occurring in the closed lane. Flaggers will be used at three locations to separate vehicular traffic from construction workers and equipment. SW 26th Street, access to the Reser Stadium parking lot and adjacent lots will be accessible. All lanes of traffic will reopen at end of shift each day. Construction activities and lane closures will occur between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily from Monday, January 10, 2022 through Friday, January 14, 2022.

As part of the Fairbanks Hall Renovation Project, pressurizing steam piping for Fairbanks Hall will occur on the afternoon of Thursday, December 23, 2021 to burn off residual protective oils prior to covering the pipes in insulation and framed walls. We expect this to create an amount of smoke, and an active fire watch will be in place on every floor at Fairbanks Hall while work is taking place.

For work related to the Arts and Education Complex project, a partial closure of SW Benton Place is scheduled to allow for utility work. There will be no full closure of the road and minimal impacts to parking. The partial closure starts on Monday, December 20, 2021 through Thursday, December 23, 2021.

As part of the Fairbanks Hall Renovation Project, utility work will be happening. The sidewalk between the Women’s Building and Fairbanks Hall is scheduled to be closed from Monday, November 29 through Monday, December 27, 2021. An area of the sidewalk/fire lane between Austin Hall and the Asian & Pacific Cultural Center will also be closed.
For work related to Pacific Power system upgrades, Pacific Power will continue to perform electrical trenching and drilling work through the end of August 2021. Electrical trenching and drilling work started at the intersection of 35th Street and SW Washington Way in mid-April 2021. Ongoing work will occur on both sides of SW Washington Way between 35th Street and 30th Street. This work supports Pacific Power’s power infrastructure and prepares for future upgrades to SW Washington Way.
