Are you thinking about the next step to advance your academic and professional goals? The Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) is a fantastic way to do that. Apply for the SURE Science scholarship to work on exciting research projects in labs across campus. SURE Science scholars receive a stipend of $5,500 each to pursue 11 weeks of paid full-time summer research that complements and deepens their classroom learning.  
Who should apply? SURE Science is open to any College of Science undergraduate who will be returning to OSU in the fall. 
Join us for this one-hour Info Session on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, 6-7 p.m.in Kearney 112. Learn tips about how to connect with research faculty whose work interests you, the new application process, and get any questions you have about the SURE Science program answered. Our team of experienced professionals will guide you on how to identify interesting research opportunities on campus and connect with professors.

The President’s Commission on the Status of Women provides funding to faculty, students, and staff who are pursuing professional development, research, outreach, or creative projects related to women’s issues. Scholarships average $500. OSU’s Office for Commercialization and Corporate Development | OSU Advantage is announcing a Request for Proposals. OSU-affiliated research faculty, and OSU students working under the direction of a faculty PI, are eligible to apply and may submit applications to OSRAA via Cayuse by 5:00 PM PST, 02/21/2018. The purpose is to provide funding for projects that enhance the value and commercial potential of OSU-affiliated applied innovations and support the innovation economy in Oregon. Award amounts of up to $60,000 will be provided, with a total available fund of approximately $250k this round.
