According to the Faculty Senate Bylaws, non-tenured faculty who have split appointments between two apportionment units may choose with which unit they wish to be apportioned for Senate purposes. This choice will determine Senate representation. Faculty not choosing where they wish to be apportioned will be placed in an apportionment unit at the discretion of the Faculty Senate Office. Respond to the survey at http://oregonstate.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_3faYxl8N2Jo2aHz by noon on Tuesday, Nov. 1 to indicate with which unit you wish to be apportioned. Tenured faculty will be apportioned in their tenure unit, with the exception of off-campus Extension, OSU-Cascades, and Hatfield Marine Science Center.

The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) has generously agreed to host the 2016 Women in Science Annual Mixer!  The date is set for Wednesday, November 2 from 5:30PM – 8:00PM in OMSI’s fun and dynamic Turbine Hall.

Appetizers will be provided by Bon Appétit.  Drinks for purchase at the bar.  Turbine Hall exhibits will be open for exploration, and WIS will host networking games with prizes.
