I want to point out that our Postdoctoral Scientist positions are not for a specific length of time, as are most academic postdoc roles. This is a full time “permanent” job, with the anticipation of once the postdoc attains certain milestones they are then moved into a different position in the company (Scientist I, Project Manager, and other opportunities as well).

We need new players! There is a sign-up sheet for the woman’s chemistry softball team in the Chemistry Office. All levels of players are welcome. Games are held once a week on weekday evenings from the week of May 14th to the end of July (12 games). Games normally begin at times between 6-9 pm and are held at several Corvallis Parks’ fields. The cost to the players is ~$35 /person to cover league fees and equipment with the Chemistry Department graciously covering half of our costs.
