Dear Solid State Chemistry Community,
It is with great pleasure that I would like to announce that the 2021 North American Solid State Chemistry Conference (NASSCC) will be hosted virtually by the faculty at USC from July 28-31, 2021.
As you may be aware, the NASSCC takes place biennially, alternating with the Gordon Research Conference on Solid State Chemistry. In contrast to the GRC meetings, the NASSCC places a stronger emphasis on oral presentations by students, postdocs, and junior faculty, while preserving the informal character of the GRC.
I am very excited about the outstanding lineup of speakers that touches on nearly every aspect of the field. You will find a list of these speakers as well as the portal for abstract submission at the link below. Please note that the deadline for abstracts has been extended to May 15 from the original announcement that went out via Twitter

I would also like to make sure that everyone is aware that, in addition to the traditional oral Zoom presentations, we will be holding a virtual poster session (via https://gather.town/) as well. So please do consider submitting an abstract for that.
