• Renter’s rights and responsibilities
• Understand financial costs of living off-campus

• Increase awareness of campus and community resources
• Awareness that second year is the second most difficult time for students based on retention (first year is most difficult)
• Awareness that reading the entire lease is important
• Understand importance of roommate selection
• Recognize differences in time management due to commuting
