Outcomes 

  1. Development of residence hall affiliation among first-year studentsIHC 2013-14
  2. Increase participation in select UHDS and campus wide events by first-year students
  3. Increase non-classroom, first-year student/faculty interactions
  4. Increase knowledge of availability of in-hall academic tutoring services
  5. Enhanced and standardized acknowledgement of academic achievement within halls
  6. Increase participation in on-campus extra-curricular activities
  7. Increase inter-cultural competency and awareness
  8. Increase and maintain personal well being and balance
  9. Increase affinity to the campus in general and their hall in particular; awareness of legacy and alumnus

Delivery Options

  1. Tracking of student participation at various UHDS and campus wide events and assignment of points awarded to individual halls
  2. Regular updating and distribution of point totals to hall members, along with upcoming events to get points
  3. Faculty Dinners
  4. Meet the Tutors event
  5. Hall and individual competitions for highest GPAs each term
  6. Campus wide events
  7. Marketing via banners, posters, bulletin boards, tweets, Facebook, meetings, word of mouth, website
