Competencies

  1. Determine shared community standards, post visibly on floor
  2. Convey less essential policy violations
  3. Gain clear understanding of hall government and ways to get involved
  4. Begin or continue to establish a floor/wing community
  5. Knowledge of RA/resident 1:1s
  6. Gain tools to briefly and initially manage others’ suicidal ideation or reports of assault before getting staff assistance
  7. Understanding of the roommate agreement and impact on their living situation.  This document can be updated by residents at any point during the year.
  8. Upper Division students will be informed of the changes in the residential living experience due to FYE

Strategies

  1. Hold Wing/Floor/Community Meeting (NOTE: entire agenda can be covered in one meeting, OR it may be split over two separate floor meetings; Community standards content should be covered in the second meeting)
