The BioOne website will be undergoing maintenance starting Friday, June 20. Scheduled downtime will begin at 6:30 p.m. PST and may last up to 4 hours. During this time content and services on bioone.org will be unavailable.

All Taylor & Francis sites will be unavailable for a period of two hours due to scheduled database maintenance. This will take place on Friday June 28, 6:30-8:30 PM PST.

Beginning on Saturday, June 14, 2014 ProQuest will make improvements to its internal systems to accommodate a growing number of users and to reduce the need for future downtime.

A thirteen hour (13) maintenance window is needed to perform these enhancements, lasting from June 14 at 7:00 PM PST through June 15 at 8:00 AM PST.

On Friday, May 30, 2014, from 6:00 PM PST to 8:00 PM PST, EBSCOhost databases and services may be intermittently unavailable due to necessary network upgrades.

Digitalia Hispanica is a globally recognized e-book platform that specializes in providing high quality Spanish Language content primarily from Spain and Latin American countries. Available publications range from the early 20th century works of Ruedo Iberico, Hora de España, and Generación Consciente to recent releases from publishers such as Silex, Trotta or Bibloteca Nueva. Over 4000 e-book titles are available in a wide variety of subject areas such as Literature, Social Sciences, Geography, History, Medicine, and many more. In addition, Digitalia Hispanica offers well-known e-journal content from publications such as Anthropos, (Cultural Studies) Quimera, (Literature), Archivos de la Filmoteca (Cinema studies) and El Viejo Topo (Political Science). The site’s powerful search capabilities and fast-loading in-browser reading experience make it a worthwhile resource for easily discovering and viewing many interesting and useful Spanish Language works.

OSU Libraries is trialing two Sage products: Sage Research Methods (SRM) and Sage Research Methods Cases (SRMC).

The SRM database includes tools and content to help you design your research projects, plan your study, learn about numerous methodological approaches, gather data, and make sense of your findings. SRM contains more than 600 books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and handbooks as well as the entire Little Green Book (quantitative) and Little Blue Book (qualitative) series. SRM features a taxonomy of over 1400 methods terms and a Methods Map which visualizes relationships among methods terms, concepts, people, and literature.

SAGE Research Methods Cases is a collection of 500 case studies of real social research, specially commissioned and designed to help you understand abstract methodological concepts in practice. These case studies will complement your theoretical understanding by exploring the difficulties, nuances and real-life decisions that researchers face. SRMC has been carefully commissioned to match course content and to meet the needs of methods teachers, students and researchers, internationally. The collection is developed for use in class teaching or by students and researchers seeking applied understanding of research methods. Each case is equipped with learning outcomes and discussion questions to guide and support understanding. Users can search or browse the cases by subject (discipline), academic level, methods used, and by the topic covered by the case.

Kino Lorber: Kino Lorber Edu offers over 600 titles with Kanopy. Key collections for Silent Film, Film Studies, World Cinema, and LGBT Studies will provide libraries with in-depth collections as well as the best critically acclaimed documentaries and films available today, including Metropolis and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.
DEFA: The DEFA Film Library at the University of Massachusetts Amherst is the only archive and study center outside Europe devoted to the study of a broad spectrum of filmmaking by East German filmmakers or related to East Germany from 1946 to the present. Many films have been voted among the 100 Best German Films ever made and include: The Murderers Are Among Us (1946, dir. Wolfgang Staudte), Marriage in the Shadows (1947, dir. Kurt Maetzig), The Story of Little Mook (1953. Dir. Wolfgang Staudte) and many more.
