Seminar Speaker: Grady Maxwell, MPH, Environmental Protection Agency Safety and Health Program Manager, Region 10 (Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, and Pacific Northwest Tribal Nations). Grady is an OSU alum.
Seminar Title and Description: Confronting and Managing Environment, Safety and Health Issues. This seminar will provide insight into the day-to-day strategies for dealing with EHS problems in operational settings and ways of integrating EHS practices with employees and outside contractors.
About the Speaker
Grady Maxwell is a Mississippian having graduated from Oregon State University in 2009 with a Master of Public Health in Environmental Safety and Health. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Alcorn State University in Lorman, Mississippi.
For the last 15-years, he has worked for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as the Region 10 Safety and Health Program Manager, providing safety and health expertise and oversight to approximately 600 employees located in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.
During his free time, Grady enjoys practicing archery, fishing, camping, and exploring the Pacific Northwest. He is an avid Steelers fan and enjoys staying connected with Oregon State University’s College of Health.
