Here is a brief summary of the position:

What will you do?

As an Environmental Health Specialist, you will advise and educate facilities (shelters, corrections and other settings without regulatory oversight providing infection control or environmental health support), local public health authorities (LPHAs) and CRRU epidemiology staff on environmental interventions to prevent the spread of COVID-19, as well as develop detailed plans for responding to COVID-19 outbreaks. In addition, the individual in the position will develop guidance documents and provide training and technical assistance to facilities on disease mitigation strategies, interpretation of guidelines and explanation of the intent of requirements. Collaborate with CRRU epidemiologists and Oregon’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to ensure consistency in guidance and response.
