Outline for Internship Project Work

Sustainable Herbs Program Scope 3 Working Group Pre-Competitive Collaboration Case Study

As a member of the Sustainable Herbs Program (SHP), Yogi has been an active participant in the SHP Scope 3 working group. This working group consists of seven companies from the herbal industry who collaborate to address scope 3 emissions from herbs in our supply chains. The group first convened in 2022 to study carbon emissions from herbs that lacked data availability. This internship project will write and publish a case study detailing this group’s efforts and the cross-company collaborations it fostered. The intent is to create a study that other companies can learn from that details workflows, challenges, and benefits, to establish similar pre-competitive, sustainability-based collaborations. Internship responsibilities will include identifying a target publication, interviewing stakeholders, collecting relevant data and information, writing the case study, and submitting the finished piece for publication.

Alternative project options will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis depending on relevant skills and experience of the applicant pool.
