Winter is a relatively quiet quarter for WIC. However, we did have two excellent winter events, we have some exciting work going on behind the scenes, and we have set a spring workshop series that offers a lot.

Winter Events Teach About Anti-Racism in Writing Pedagogy

For its winter events, WIC brought Dr. Vershawn Ashanti Young, who goes by dr. vay, to give a talk on anti-racist writing instruction and lead a workshop on code-meshing. Read recaps of both events here.
