Local Hazardous Waste Management Program in King County

The Local Hazardous Waste Management Program in King County has an exciting opportunity for an advanced environmental science professional.
The Environmental Scientist III join the program’s four member Research Team, who provide technical, social, and information science support throughout the program. The position will apply a high level of technical knowledge, communications skills, and innovative thinking to advance the program’s mission. Examples of duties include:
- Conduct and apply research to help reduce human and environmental exposure to hazardous chemicals.
- Provide scientific guidance to improve the health of historically underserved individuals and communities.
- Collaborate with local and national strategic partners to advance the program’s interests.
- Stay up to date on the latest evidence on chemicals of concern.
