Primary Location: Lake Oswego, OR

Schedule: Full-time

Salary: Based on Experience

Education Level: Minimum – Associate’s Degree in Environmental Health & Safety or construction related field experience. Preferred – Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health & Safety or Physical Sciences.

Shift: Day

Travel: Yes – 50% Routinely, up to 90% of the time over short durations

This position is for an entry-level or experienced professional with minimum of 1-3 years related experience. This can include asbestos, lead, mold, industrial hygiene, construction project management and/or safety related duties.

Responsibilities:

• Manage microbial remediation projects, abatement oversight and monitoring for clients throughout the United States.
• Perform hazardous building material assessments and inspections.
• Evaluate compliance with regulatory agencies including, but not limited to OSHA and US EPA.
• Perform industrial hygiene and safety/health audits at client locations of varying industries including commercial, industrial, municipal and residential.
• Evaluate safety and health conditions and provide guidance on corrective actions and control measures.
• Generate technical reports.
• Recognize, assess, evaluate and measure chemical and physical hazards at client work sites.
• Conduct site safety audits for regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• Excellent written, oral, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Professional certifications or ability to obtain in the future.
• Knowledge of OSHA General Industry and Construction standards
• Ability to travel on a regular basis, up to 90%, throughout Oregon and United States.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and pass annual medical and respirator fit test exams.
• Willingness to learn and work in fast pace, high pressure environments.
