Unlearning Racism in Geoscience (URGE)

URGE is a NSF-funded initiative that promotes reading and discussions about racism using a curriculum specifically designed for the Geosciences. Anyone can participate through forming or joining a “pod” – a group of people who will undertake readings and discussions for a curriculum developed by the URGE team. There is currently one OSU CEOAS pod that was active the 20/21 academic year. You can read more about URGE here.
