Report a Bias Incident
After submitting a bias incident report, the Bias Response Team will evaluate the report and work collaboratively to develop an appropriate response. Responses include: providing care and support to community members negatively affected; learning more about the incident; engaging in educational conversations and interventions; providing access and referrals to campus resources; and coordinating efforts to restore individuals and groups negatively affected.
Bias incident reports can be submitted anonymously. The Bias Incident Team takes seriously all reports of bias incidents, however, its ability to investigate and respond to an incident may be limited if it is reported anonymously.
While the Bias Response Team will endeavor to maintain confidentiality, consistent with university policy and the law, details of the report may need to be revealed (including the identity of the reporter) in certain circumstances.

Survivor Advocacy and Resource Center (SARC)

National Center for Faculty Development (NCFDD)
The NCFDD is a nationally-recognized independent organization dedicated to supporting faculty, particularly under-represented faculty, post-docs, and graduate students in making successful transitions throughout their careers. NCFDD provides online career development, training, and mentoring resources.
The NCFDD offers webinars and online events that provide resources to help graduate students on many topics including but not limited to the following:

Social Justice Education Initiative (SJEI) at Oregon State
Launched by Academic Affairs in 2016, the Social Justice Education Initiative is intended to support the entire OSU professional community in meeting the critical goals of OSU’s Strategic Plan and our commitment to inclusive excellence. The Social Justice Education Initiative, or SJEI, provides facilitated learning opportunities and consultation that specifically support achieving inclusive excellence across all OSU endeavors. SJEI is one of the many efforts currently working towards OSU’s equity and inclusion goals and collaborates with many partners across the OSU community, below you can find links to some of our many partners.
Staffed by one full-time director, SJEI provides interactive workshops that build community among faculty, graduate students, and staff with the goal of positively impacting outcomes for OSU students. In addition to community-building, the goal of the initiative is to increase our capacity for curiosity, communication, self-awareness, leadership, and growth. Since the launch of the program in Fall 2016, thousands of faculty, staff, and graduate students have participated in SJEI workshops.
