NOW RECRUITING LOCAL FISHERS FOR
2024 SAMPLING SEASON!

The Kavanaugh Seascape Ecology Lab has proudly conducted an annual Cooperative Fisheries Project during the summers since 2022, with the highly valued assistance of local fishers from the Newport, OR area. The project was initially developed by Raquel Gilliland under the guidance of Maria Kavanaugh and Lori Cramer, and is now being managed by Kelly George with the help of our wonderful undergraduate students.

We are recruiting fishers to help with sample collection during the 2024 sampling season! The sampling season will take place roughly between May and November of 2024. Please see the below flier for more information on the project.
