Applying the Quality Matters Rubric
Register. Tuesday, May 10 through Tuesday, May 24. Open to Ecampus faculty, QM’s flagship workshop on the QM rubric provides an overview of the research-based QM rurbic to support the design and development of effective courses. No pre-requisites, but faculty should have taught online or be developing an online course with Ecampus.
Apply Story Design to Your Teaching Using Technology
Register. Wednesday, May 11, at 12 to 12:30 pm. Stories engage our thinking, emotions, and imagination. Learn how to easily add Story Design into your teaching using Canvas, PPT & Video to improve student engagement, comprehension and retention.

Recording Video in the Field — Know Before You Go

CTL Sparkshops: Using Rubrics to Support and Assess Student Learning
Register. Friday, May 20, at 12 to 12:45 pm. Do you want to know how to use rubrics to support transparency in assessments and enhance student learning? Join Funmi Amobi and Weiwei Zhang for an informative discussion on how to help students understand the expectations for successful performance, how their current work relates to the expectations, and what they must do to close the gaps.
Video Editing for Ease, Accessibility and Interactivity
Register. Wednesday, May 25, at 12 to 12:30 pm. Learn about different video editing tools, how to easily add captions, and ways to create engaging videos using interactive video quizzing.
