NAME CHANGE! IRB IS NOW HRPP
For those of you not already aware, the Institutional Review Board (IRB) Office has been renamed the Human Research Protection Program (HRPP). The new name better reflects all of the components of our program which, in addition to the IRB, includes administration, researchers, and HRPP staff. We will promote the name change through outreach activities that will occur during Fall term.

All, please don’t forget to RSVP for our End of Summer BBQ on Sept. 15th at 5pm in McAlexander. This year we have not only invited all RO staff but also many friends of the the RO including various external board members and collaborators with our offices. RSVP here!

CHEMISTRY PROFESSOR RECEIVES NATIONAL RESEARCH AWARD
Distinguished Professor of Chemistry Douglas Keszler is an American Chemical Society (ACS) 2017 national award winner in the Chemistry of Materials. The ACS national awards program encourages the advancement of chemistry in all its branches, supports research in chemical science and industry and promotes the careers of chemists. HMSC FILM FESTIVAL- SEPT 22nd!
